About Me
Demdranger is a composer, drummer, DJ, and music producer whose output ranges anywhere from 8-channel surround-sound experimental algorithmic music, to live african and latin percussion, to post rock, to gypsyfunk to weirdo hip-hop. It's all music, really, in the end. In August of 2007 he completed a Masters in Digital Composition and Performance at the University of Edinburgh, and is currently putting the past year of sound design, studio production, algorithmic composition, djembe and samba lessons, and avant-garde music history and theory into practice. Best known for his work with his former band Aubergine 3, Demdranger has performed in London, Rio, Sao Paulo, DC, NYC, C-Ville, Asheville, San Fran, Chicago, and lots of little funky gigs in good ol' Jefferson County, WV, his hometown area. His music with Aubergine 3 has been in one feature film, Must Love Dogs (Warner Brothers, 2005) and was featured in the ABC series "Six Degrees" (from the producers of "Lost").
He is currently living in Portland working on his debut album, Ghosthousework.
