We're still on our Uncut kick here at Paper Bag after we originally posted about their trip to Japan a couple of weeks ago. We also put up their "Understanding The New Violence" video which was the first single taken from their brilliant 2004 LP Those Who Hung, Hang Here. Since then the track has dominated our stereo so we thought we'd share it with you guys. Download it, bask in its pounding rhythms and remember...PAPER BAG LOVES YOU, ok?
After we posted last week about Uncut's forthcoming trip to Japan we got all nostalgic and decided to remind ourselves why we fell in love with those guys in the first place. "Understanding The New Violence" was the first single taken from their brilliant 2004 LP Those Who Hung, Hang Here which perfectly demonstrates their cascading guitar squalls, pounding rhythms and basslines capable of moving the hairs on the back of your neck. Enjoy.

Uncut are heading East. Japan, to be precise. In celebration of this we thought, 'Hey, the sun's out, we're in a good mood today and Uncut are heading out on tour...let's post up the awesome 'Hideaway' from their 2006 album Modern Currencies.' So, that's what we've gone and done...
And if you're in Japan or know some friends in need of some sharp riffs and big, grabbing melodies then check out these dates:
July 9th - O-Nest, Shibuya (Japan)
July 10th - Drunkard, Kashiwa (Japan)
