My, my, my. My, my, my, my, my. This is fantastic. Blondes have done it again, "Moondance" picking up where "Spanish Fly" left off, sounding great because it sounds like the greatest song ever, or weren't you listening to "In The Light Of The Miracle" that time you walked home alone in the rain and didn't care that you were getting wet? Heartbroken, ecstatic and flushed with synth colour, soak this in now and take aim at the weekend ahead - ten odd minutes of bliss right here, your weekend starts right here.

Sounds Like: Teengirl Fantasy, Arthur Russell, Inner City

You can't really say or explain 'bliss', which I guess is why all the songs or tracks that communicate it closest don't need any words. Better to have, like Blondes do here, endless zoned-out sighs and down-time synths just chill and kicking back, knowing their shift dancing in the club's over for the night. Your best reference point here is probably Teengirl Fantasy, Blondes pair Zach Steinman and Sam Haar hailing from the same Oberlin college and similarly obsessed with house and kraut music, but really "Spanish Fly" is just indescribably good.

Sounds Like: Salem, Air France, Teengirl Fantasy
