EXCLUSIVE NEW DOWNLOAD: Shuttle - Rotten Guts (feat. Cadence Weapon)

In addition to his work under the moniker Etan, D.C.-bred producer Shuttle has been busy rocking all-nighters in his adopted hometown of Boston with his enorphinated brand of bubbly club music, deejaying parties with the city's Basstown crew and eventually landing a gig cooking tracks for venerable label Ninja Tune. March will see the release of his debut EP "Tunnel / Rotten Guts," featuring a guest spot from Canadian MC Cadence Weapon and remix work from fellow Tuner High Rankin. We've been given an exclusive peak at "Rotten Guts," a squeaky, elastic jumpoff that sounds like it wandered into the intersection of dubstep and Baltimore club and got hit by a bright yellow school bus. As always, track link is below and head to dude's MySpace for some more music, mixes, and info.

DOWNLOAD: Claire Hux - Down On The Floor + Dance All Night + Get Flossy

As evidenced by the above photo, Baltimore collective Claire Hux are glam-minded party rockers who've been blowing roofs off venues lately with their weird and highly enjoyable take on Bmore club. Stuffing their tracks with gratuitous bass blasts, Prince melodies, gun shot samples, sirens, raunchy dancefloor commands, and enough high-energy breaks to move even the most sedentary of club goers, these kids are killing it if only for making a genre that we've seen appropriated by pretty much everyone in the game become entirely new and fun on its own again. They're currently signed to Unruly Records, the imprint run by legendary Bmore DJ Scottie B., who also mixed the Hux's new mixtape, Jammin On The One. All three of these tunes make appearances on there, so check them out here, and if you're digging it head on over to their website to cop the whole thing for free.ninety.nine.

EXCLUSIVE NEW DOWNLOAD: Heaps Decent - Koori Girls feat. The King Sisters (Dre Skull Remix)

Heaps Decent began when American DJ and producer Diplo—CEO and godfather of the Mad Decent label—spent time in Australia after touring to work with indigenous communities in hip-hop production and DJ workshops. Linking up with two Sydney-based DJ’s—Andrew Levins and Nina Agzarian—the project quickly spiraled from there, roping in artists like Devlin & Darko, Pase Rock, and even M.I.A. for various workshops and programs in rural communities, correctional facilities, and universities around the country. The results have been widely available on iTunes, where proceeds are donated back into the program to continue outreach.
Today here on RCRD LBL we’re super excited to premiere an exclusive Dre Skull remix of the Heaps Decent track “Koori Girls,” produced by Devlin and Pase Rock and featuring Heaps Decent vocalists The King Sisters. Dre’s take on the original, which you can pick up on iTunes right here, is a uptempo Bmore version, the ubiquitous “Sing Sing” break over some undulating bass and synth pads and cheeky vocal bits. You can probably catch Diplo dropping the tune on the Mad Decent tour, which kicks off this Thursday in New York and also features our good buds Abe Vigoda, Boy 8-Bit, and Telepathe (what a line-up). Dates after the jump and all sounds below.
Sounds like: Diplo, Aaron LaCrate, Tittsworth

EXCLUSIVE NEW DOWNLOAD: MSTRKRFT - Bounce (feat. N.O.R.E.) [A-Trak Remix]

The tripping-the-raver-laser-fantastic of MSTRKRFT's “Bounce” gets the flip from Fool’s Gold co-founder and global party maestro DJ A-Trak, who eschews the original's maximal throttling for some old-school breaks splicing, quick scratch cuts, and cowbell jamming (really.) A hip-house block-rocker with some B-More swagger, A-Trak’s uptempo mix gives a little bit of throwback simmer to his fellow Canadian’s futuristic devastation. Grab the EXCLUSIVE download of the tune below.

DOWNLOAD: Tittsworth - WTF (Featuring Kid Sister and Pase Rock)

After dropping a large chunk of his new album Twelve Steps, (out now on Plant Music), we continue our barrage of bangers with Tittsworth's new single "WTF", featuring guest verses from our good friends Kid Sister and Pase Rock. A loose bmore slam with a chorus of Pase and Kid Sis chanting "Wassup, wassup?" over and over again on top of a synth line inspired by the "Axel F" theme in Beverly Hills Cop, "WTF" is an unapologetic club track, with Pase (unsurprisingly) giving perhaps the most apt observation: "Nasty flavor/ Major Pase banger/ Heavy big bangin' beats and big paper" What else is there to say?
