Last Tuesday we watched Wolfmother raise the goblet of rock and toast to a sold out crowd at the Music Hall of Williamsburg. I endured some casual moshers to bring you these snaps, taking a couple elbows to the head for the cause. We suggest you nab a copy of Cosmic Egg, Wolfmother's latest LP out on Modular, and peep their MySpace for upcoming dates with AC/DC.

Last Thursday we headed out to the Bowery Ballroom for a sold-out show with The Horrors & Crocodiles. British accents surrounded the room, Manchester United shirts were rocked, Mark Ronson checked it out and for a quick second we thought we were in London town. Crocodiles shook things up, rocking out with "I Wanna Kill" as the band looked impossibly cool and the crowd sang along. The Horrors took to the stage sporting black outfits and haunting looks, playing tracks off of the HIGHLY recommended Primary Colours LP that came out in April. Both bands are still running around the US together, check tour dates here.

On Tuesday night we were lucky to see the second to last New York show of NIN's "Wave Goodbye" tour. With RCRD LBL staff favorites The Horrors opening, we couldn't imagine how this could get any better. NIN rocked, the kids crowd-surfed, and memories were made. We even bumped into Kanye at the bar and learned he is also a fan.

Last Thursday, at Bowery Ballroom, we checked out N.A.S.A., Hollywood Holt, and DJ Fatlip, who warmed up the crowd, spinning the perfect blend of hip-hop and funk for the kids. Hollywood Holt pumped up the crowd with DJ and producer Million Dollar Mano, and even brought Telli Gramz, of Ninjasonik fame, on stage. Things got extra crazy when N.A.S.A. took the stage, rolling with an entourage of dancers suited up in robot and alien themed costumes. Squeak E. Clean even brought his mom on stage, what a nice guy.

Last Thursday RCRD LBL kicked it at Webster Hall for Diesel U Music's star-studded bash. It seemed like an A.D.D. oriented music festival, featuring short but sweet sets from heartsrevolution, The Noisettes, Theophilus London, Passion Pit, Cobra Starship, The Clipse with Kanye West, The Roots with Lykke Li, and more. We got lost in the moment, and also had a chance to take some snaps which you can check out below. If you couldn't make it, be sure to catch The Roots during their residency at Highline Ballroom.
