This EP marks the US debut of ... (more) the new Parisian indie-pop sensation, praised by Justice or Zombie Zombie alike. In this record, overlooking Paris and New York, the band headed by David Sztanke (Tahiti Boy) delivers refreshing songs where you meet the likes of Syd matters or Tunde Adebimpe (TV on the Radio) on various instruments and vocal performances.

Think of a family picture where the Kinks, Paul McCartney or Brian Wilson pose against the lush background of Michel Legrand’s garden, with Vampire Weekend occasionally poking a head. Tahiti Boy shoots the whole scene and each song is like a pop gem.

As you’re sitting back and about to relax the pastoral and always-moving 1973 gets hold of you at a restless pace.
The more introspective and minimalistic That Song featuring Tunde Adebimpe from TV on the Radio will then help put things in perspective. Both songs are featured on the Family’s debut album Good Children Go to Heaven.

Para One delivers an amazing remix of the 1973 that just makes you feel like you’re floating in a colorful dream after some psychotropic experience.
