Bio: Bix Sigurdsson has learned through experimentation. At the tender age of 13, he began exploring electronic music by making his own with some 8-bit Russian ... (more) samplers and Amiga computer with 512k of RAM in his native Iceland. Sixteen years of dabbling later, he's both produced and remixed such artists as GusGus (when he was 21), Daniel Agust, Beck, Sigur Ros, and Madonna. He is currently working on his solo debut album.

Of course, no modern musical success story is complete without a stint as a DJ. At the age of 16 Bix nabbed the DJ championship in his native Iceland, but insulted by his award of a CD player, abandoned the turntables to focus on music production and composition where he's collaborated with the likes of Michel Gondry and other seminal commercial directors,

When not challenging himself musically, Bix occupies himself by studying the art of Ving Tsun Kung Fu and raising a 3 year-old rocket scientist.
