  • Bio: Hailing from America’s West Coast, Baby Monster are electronica stars in the making. ‘Ultra Violence And Beethoven’ is the debut single from the Oregon pair. Lo-fi but gazing at the stars, ‘Ultra Violence And Beethoven’ is built on structured beats that create the space for the glorious beauty of their melodies to shine through with woozy synths and echo-drenched vocals creating a wonderfully otherworldly atmosphere.

Baby Monster are one of the most interesting band’s to emerge from America in recent times and have already been lauded online, as well as remixing the debut single ‘Pieces Of You’ from the hotly-tipped Wolf Gang to stunning effect. Along with lead single, ‘Medicine Man’ from Zero 7’s latest album.

Danny Sternbaum has established himself as one of the most exciting new producers out there. Even to the point that he turned down the chance to engineer what would have been Michael Jackson’s new album. Marty Larson has played in various Oregon bands over the years, building a reputation as a phenomenally creative musician.
On the flipside is the brilliant re-working by the up-and coming Arveene & Misk. Already endorsed by Erol Alkan, this Irish duo are set for big things in the next few months having already remixed Mr Oizo. Their version of ‘Ultra Violence And Beethoven’ is a straight up banger aimed directly at the dancefloor.

The band are now gearing up for their first live dates. Their live debut comes in New York at CMJ as part of the Neon Gold showcase, before heading to the UK for three shows.

‘Ultra Violence And Beethoven’ is the latest single to be released on 50 Bones, the London label that is fast making a name for itself with the release of debut singles from Little Boots, The Virgins, Mickey Gang and Primary 1.
