I first heard YG’s stuff on Jerkin With JHawk and zips of jerk tunes Mr Ducker and folks would send me. His mumbly, bedhead delivery is exactly what you’d expect from a teen solidly raised in this Gucci Mane-ozoic era, but he favors beats that blend cheap jerk 808s with dusty samples - an odd combination, but a winning one.
