A little genealogy this morning: Bluebrain sprang from The Epochs, a brotherly duo who’s remixed Ra Ra Riot and shared the stage with Spank Rock, Lady Sovereign and The Walkmen. Below, two wildly different tracks, both chock-full of pop-rock goodness from their upcoming EP, out on Lujo Records in November. “Cult Following” is all stadium sing-a-long and tweaker hooks, while “Bring Out Your Dead” is the type of gauzy, underwater song that fits between Massive Attack and LCD Soundsystem on your babymaking playlist (yes, you have one).
