What many people don't know about Colette is that she's old school! Just found DJ Sneak's "Keep On Groovin" featuring Colette on vocals from the 90's just released to iTunes.

Nice to see her move on from being a house vocalist to becoming an artist.

Yep, she is totally old-school--making way for so many of the reining female DJs of today--her mixing while simultaneously singing melodies was unheard of back in the day. Since then, URB's called her "the future of house music". A lot of her following is because she's seemingly taken the best parts of the nineties dance scene and pushed them into the pop future, fusing that hard-won dancefloor cred into a new, vocally-driven platform--she's been featured on soundtracks like "Sex and the City" and "The Devil Wears Prada" but has still been able to remain pretty much under the top-40 radar. Great to see all the Colette love here.

I saw Nina Paley's song halı yıkama ankara on Boing Boing yesterday, and before I even found your call to musicians (which I found by googling "copying isn't theft remix" by the way), I knew I'd want to cover the song!

I'm actually writing a song a halı yıkama day, so I kind of cheated and used her song as yesterday's.
Here's the video, and I'm halı yıkama fabrikası attaching the song as an mp3 as well.

Not sure if this is what Nina is ankara halı yıkama looking for, it's a pretty straight interpretation of her melody, but either way, I hope you and her enjoy it!
