Mixhell are the Sao Paolo duo of Iggor and Laima Cavalera, husband and wife, father and mother, and immeasurably badass DJ/production duo. If the last name sounds familiar, it's because Iggor, along with his brother Max, formed one of the most popular metal bands ever, Sepultura. After retiring from that group, the drummer and his wife began producing and DJ'ing together, discovering their own concussive stamp on the electro discourse and touring that sound around the world. Currently, they're recording a debut album with Soulwax's Dewaele brothers in Belgium, to be released on an unnamed label later this year. "Highly Explicit" is one of their original productions, a beastly melange of programming, bass-synth, hand drums, sirens, machine guns, whistles, and tiger growls. Actually we made that last one up but we think it'd fit nicely in there too. If only our parents had been this cool.
