Daniel Wang's signature style allows the artists he's remixing to shine through while indulging his point of view. Milke's latest single, "Love Get Out of My Way," is only the most recent example of his wise, revisionist touch. By shedding the majority of the vocals, scaling back the exciteable chorus and smoothing over the edgy electro synths, Wang gives the tune's catchiest elements plenty of breathing room: The ballsy bass line swaggers widely and confidently, flocked in gloopy synth oscillations and splashy disco rhythms. So while "Love Get Out Of My Way" no longer flies off the hinges to express Milke's point, its sassy bite remains in Wang's charmingly understated take.
