Ahh, our second dose of remixes from avant-electro crew Lemonade. Better than a Big Gulp on an egg-sizzling-on-sidewalk summer day, Delorean's remix of "Big Weekend" is beastly refreshing - a shimmery, buttery dance groove perfect for lazying the day in the sun. (Considering how cold it is here in NY, it's also really making me consider buying one of those heat lamps.) Next up, Lazer Sword carves out mean, bass-heavy vibrations (think of Michael & Janet Jackson's 'Scream" meets Lemonade.) Meanwhile, Soft Thing's remix served stiff with electro-static beats fits right in with those atmospheric tracks on The Beach soundtrack and Mashepest wails some serious glow-stick-twirling, 'where's-the-dayglo-at?' techno house with his take on "Real Slime."
