DOWNLOAD: Richard Swift - Lady Luck

Here we go - the perfect soulful jam to close out the week swaying pretty. This track slides right in next to Marvin Gaye and Smokey Robinson. What? Yup, multi-instrumental experimentalist Richard Swift is at it again - reinventing his musical style with his new album "The Atlantic Ocean" (out on Secretly Canadian on April 7). This track in particular was apparently inspired by the misty, shimmery grooves of Motown and rhythm and blues. The song breaks in with a perky piano, simple drums, and tell-tale showgirl "coos" and "ooohh"s, before continuing on a loose, jazzy trail about spending time with luscious 'ol "Lady Luck." Spin it loud folks and let yourself get a lil loose.

Sounds Like: Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson
