For our one-year anniversary, we reached out to some of the people and artists that we work to ask them to create a playlist of tunes from our catalog. We got some great ones back, and we'll be posting them throughout the rest of the week. As always, these are embeddable on other blogs, websites, etc. so share them around and stay tuned for more.

Today we're publishing selections from Kim Schifino, drummer and one-half of Brooklyn's DIY dance-punk titans Matt And Kim. We world premiered their first tune in two years back in August, and now they've saddled up with the FADER label to release their new album Grand in 2009. We're also running a great contest around this playlist. If you embed it on your blog and send a link to contests@rcrdlbl.com with the subject "MATT AND KIM", you'll be entered to win a custom-made Christmas card from the band.
