VIDEO THRWBCK: Rancid - Ruby Soho (1995)
It blows my mind that Rancid are still such a strong touring act. Dudes have been doing it forever, and while Tim and Matt are arguably more lovable for the work they did in Op Ivy (I also saw Matt play one time with Social D), these guys can still demolish whatever stage they hop on. And they're like 40. I saw this video at the age of nine, when I was still jamming Alanis Morrisette cassettes out of a crappy Aiwa boombox my sister had passed down. It changed a lot for me, and I still set my iPod alarm to play Desmond Dekker in the morning because of Tim's first line.
