"Get Fresh" is the latest track to drop from Kid Sister's new album Dream Date, and just like the recently leaked "Family Reunion" with David Banner, we’re seeing Chicago’s own step into more classic hip-hop territory. Darting in and out of a snappy, big room beat (courtesy of producers A-Trak and XXXChange, who deftly flip a keyboard riff from ZZT's indie-techno smash "Lower State Of Consciousness"), the queen of North American party-rocking proves once again she’s got some really impressive mic skills. Prepare yourself for some more diverse nuggets when Dream Date drops in January through Fool’s Gold/Downtown.
