If all Felix Cartal did was party I probably wouldn’t be writing about him right now. He would still be sleeping and he wouldn’t be going on tour with MSTRKRFT across America later this month (he'd probably go to the show, though) and his remix of the group’s “Bounce” track featuring Queens rapper N.O.R.E. would not be premiering on this website right now. But it is, so I imagine dude has some serious work ethic.  The Vancouver native has somehow managed to make MSTRKRFT sound more ‘90s ‘ardkore fantastic, think neon UFO parachute pants, the movie Go, strobes, Day-Glo paint, etc. And all it took was some vocal re-edits and Moonlaser synths. For those thirsting for some more classic big-room sounds, this is a journey you want to take.
