It feels like it's been too long since Land Of Talk dropped the Applause Cheer Boo Hiss EP to much cyber commotion two years back. People were noticeably excited and it seemed only right that a full-length of equally black-eyed indie rock would follow immediately thereafter. Nah.

But after many tours and recent recording sessions spearheaded by Justin Vernon of Bon Iver fame (dude is on fire), Ms. Elizabeth Powell finally has that full-length all ready to uncage. "Some Are Lakes" is the titular haunter from that record, out on Saddle Creek this coming October. GET EXCITED.
