“I was raised by wolves,” the hook line in this track of the same name from Toronto’s The Cansecos, is like a candy apple mantra, harmonized and dripping in autotune, it tends to hook itself into your unsuspecting and funktified mind. These two Canadians—whose debut album Juices! came out last year in Canada via Upper Class Recordings—have hooked us up with some exclusive remixes of the track; Vitomir’s big room anthem version, their own choppy electro remix (now with what sounds like Talkbox!), Fantastic Mr. Fox’s pseudo-dubstep re-working, and a remix from Parallel (aka Cam Findlay, Crystal Castles’ touring drummer) that’s like half acid/half goth Chicago house. If you’re a fan at all of this stuff, grab the remixes or stream the original below as they'll all get you moving pretty easily. Also, their name’s the Cansecos and their album is called “Juices!”…big ups disgraced nineties baseball players!
