Dim Mak Staff Picks  are back this week to bring you to unearth more gems from the depths of obscurity and bring them into the light!! These picks are brought from deep in the Dim Mak Vault with another staff pick from our full-time, part-time, intern and external staff and close friends, and musical mavericks. This week's "staff picker" is intern, Ian, who shares one track with us "Butter" from The Bloody Beetroots!! "Not only does the name of the song sound really good, the music does too. Like really good, like they could take over the world with their future full length. Thank goodness I put this song onto my ipod because if it was on a CD it would not stop skipping from too much play. Have you ever made a CD with 23 tracks of the same song? I haven’t, that would be weird, but if I was going to this would be the song. Instantly it sounds appealing, it draws you in with its diamond sharp synth riffs and white noise percussion. Its quality is superb and exciting, like those high def TVs I see at Costco that make Nascar races look sweet. This song is packed with details, there’s this part at 3:55 where everything cuts out and there is just a gong then all the instruments kick back in. I didn’t notice that till my 84th listen on a pair of new headphones. I like this song because I can find nothing wrong with it at all and that’s why it is special and I’d like to share it with everyone I meet."
