Living in a tent in the woods, driving to a recording studio and spending all day with a bunch of dudes might sound more Hawthorne/Thoreau/Emerson than Martin/Benson/Hammond Jr. but that's just what Luke Reynolds, former Blue Merle front man, current Pictures and Sound music machine did to create Pictures and Sound, released on Vanguard Records on 8.19.  RCRD LBL brings you the final installment of a 3 part introduction to the creation of this debut s/t album chronicling a journey into the heart of the forest, and the heart of pop song writing.  "It's You," was written on the road and recorded live to two-inch tape, so what you hear in the video and on this tune is Reynolds through and through.  A lovely tune for a lovely summer Friday.
