Koushik makes layered, laid-back psychedelic pop with slight hip-hop instrumentation, like breakbeats drenched in reverb. Makes for perfect summer music, and sounds like something the main character in The Wackness would totally listen to on his Walkman during a climactic, coming-of-age scene. “Lying in the Sun” is a track off of Koushik’s upcoming record Out My Window, which is bound to fill that Four Tet/Caribou shaped hole in our collective hearts once it drops in Septmeber.
