VIDEO THRWBCK: Blondie - Eat to the Beat (1979)

We've always considered "Eat to the Beat", the title track off of Blondie's 4th LP, as a significant musical departure for the band, or at least from the candy-coated pop rock of their previous album Parallel Lines. Debbie Harry & Co. forgo the coy attitude cultivated hitherto and go for something much more primal (though not as primal as the artwork to The Hunter--yeesh). We love the song though, it's definitely charming in its own, savage way.
