We never used to wear shorts. Chalk it up to ill-advised teenage body-image issues, or a childhood listening to punk rock, but we just weren’t into rocking the Bermudas—until we moved to NYC that is, where summer is so hot, grimy, humid and disgusting that wearing jeans past Memorial Day makes for a sauna in your pants. We then realized that, actually, shorts are amazing, and now we have a little bit of a collection going on in our closet.
