TOUR DATES: Chairlift embark on US tour

We’re totally obsessed with Chairlift at the moment, the Brooklyn-based three-piece who are about to destroy the world when they set off on their first extensive US tour (with none other than Ariel Pink). The band’s album Does You Inspire You sounds like the perfect meeting between CAN, Patti Smith. Cocteau Twins and Cat Power, and it’s bound to be recognized as one of the best records of 2008, by far. Check out the tour dates after the jump, and believe us, you must see this show.

Also, Chairlift are playing Mercury Lounge tonight at 9:30 with Crystal Antlers, so you REALLY have no excuse.
