DOWNLOAD: Duchess Says - Ccut Up

I took 6 years of French and still have no idea what Duchess Says are on about. That could be for several reasons: 1. The American School System. 2. My general inability to make out words in songs unless the are ex-plic-it-ly clear. 3. Duchess Says are motherfuckin nuts. RCRD LBL has featured a Juan Maclean Remix of Duchess Says' "Black Flag," which kicks your teeth in a bit more gently than the original version of the song, which can also be found on Anthologie des 3 Perchoirs with today's track, "Ccut Up." The other things I understand on the back of the CD, "Rabies (baby's got the) and "I've got the flu" only serve to reinforce that Duchess Says are completely insane. I could throw out lots of references for other girl-fronted sexy, tough, screamy, shouty bands, but what's the point? Duchess Says takes what could be their most distinguishing feature and backs it up with some of the most truly inventive music you're going to find in your record store today.
Sounds Like: The Big Sleep, The Gossip, The Kills, Mika Miko
