DOWNLOAD: Sick of Sarah - Daisies + Breakdown

Sick of Sarah are carrying on the legacy of ‘80s and ‘90s indie rock girl groups, fusing the particular styles of Sleater-Kinney, Joan Jett and even fluffy alt. pop bands like Letters to Cleo. SOS hail from Minneapolis, MN and built their fanbase form the ground up, playing loads of live shows and living the rock ‘n’ roll dream to its full extent. The young ladies, all in their early ‘20s, are unabashed about their musical influences, and it shows in their fun, poppy, thoughtfully-written songs about teen angst and all those juicy secrets girls talk about (we assume) when they’re left all alone with their instruments and vintage Runaways records. Take a gander, and get sucked into their world…

You'll fall in love with the band!
I've seen them play live and they are amazing!! They bring so much energy to the stage that you can't help but to fall in love with the band. If you ever have the chance to see them live, you should take it. -Kin

I'm the kind of person who

I'm the kind of person who thinks that great music is the kind of music that's hard listening to for the first time (of course, bad music is always bad music, but you know when a band or artist is worth listening to). Music that you don't completely understand the first time is music that's breaking boundaries, it means the band's trying new sounds and taking chances with their whole project. Sick Of Sarah is one of those bands I listened to once and thought it was completely worth listening and spending time in trying to "understand". As a woman, I feel extremely proud of admiring and knowing about an all-female band that represents us well and show that women can play as well and as hard as any other rock band. I don't care if some people say or think they're just another pop/rock band... If you are one of those people, then I want to see you rocking that hard!
Sick Of Sarah rules!

This band and their music

This band and their music will change your life! I have never listened to this particular genre of music before in my entire life. They happened to be playing live in my hometown and I saw them almost by accident. It was the best time of my life and it was love at first sound. Now, I cannot go through one single day without hearing their music. It makes my soul happy in a way that I cannot explain but that I want to share with everyone. It will be a lucky day for you when you first hear them and if you are blessed enough to meet the ladies in person one day.......you will see what beautiful people they are - both inside and out. I love them. I love their music. They saved my life.
