Los Angeles-based producer Adam Jay Weissman (a.k.a. Sample208) has his fingers in a lot of pies: he’s a filmmaker, does remixes for artist as varied as Liquid Liquid and Buffalo Daughter, and is also a full time member of electro/new wave band Pollyn. That’s a lot of pies.

When Adam was 13 he bought some decks with his bar mitzvah money, caught the hip hop bug and the rest is history--he’s been making bedroom beats ever since. The track we’re giving out today, entitled “Heavy”, is actually anything but. It’s a smooth, light, instrumental synth jam with a wicked break beat. Check it out…
