Loads has happened for Tilly and the Wall since we last caught up with them, when they released their amazing single “Beat Control” a few months ago. And.. what’s this? “Pot Kettle pot kettle black/Watch your watch your back!”, goes their new single. Could it be that the bubbly, smiley, tap-dancing-on-rainbows Tilly have been transformed into sneering, vitriolic punks? Not so fast, everyone needs a moment to vent now and then, and that’s exactly what Tilly do on this track. Though it’s hard to picture Tilly having “haters”, (what else would they hate? Christmas? Children? Bambi?) the message of the song is clearly “don’t mess with us”, which could easily be the moral to like, a crunk diss track. "Pot Kettle Black" is off their new album O, which could be their greatest achievement yet. Check out the rousing track and a few other recent Tilly songs at the band’s RCRD LBL artist page.
