Sarah Assbrin, the brainchild behind El Perro Del Mar, has a crystal-clear, paper-thin voice that's so delicate- if it were a physical object, you'd tiptoe around it not to break it. Enveloped with light guitar, oboe and horn (I think I heard a flute in there too?), the result is quite breathtaking and hypnotic.  The songs from her newest album, "From the Valley To The Stars,' are imbued with a bit of hope and a lot of introspection, such as the hymn-like "Glory To The World" below. We'd recommend you check her out as she tours with the cheeky ingénue , Lykke Li, in May.
