Last November, Claude VonStroke dropped a two-hour, 38 track extravaganza on England's Radio One. It was consequently chosen as one of the top ten Essential Mixes of the year. Until now, the mix has only been available as a 96 Kbps stream  off the BBC website. We are happy to present a re-encoded, crystal clear 192 Kbps version. Spanning everything from deep techno to booty, this is VonStroke at his finest.

This mix marks the first appearance of several notable dirtybird and mothership tracks:

#6 Italoboyz vs. John Coltrane - Bahia (mothership 006)  - After four months of negotiations, we finally cleared the Coltrane sample, the first time the tenor master has appeared legally in an electronic track.

#25 The Martin Brothers- Full Moon (dirtybird 018) - We haven't had seen this much demand for an unreleased track since The Whistler! And it's still not out yet (vinyl release date 5/19).

#26 Style of Eye - The Big Kazoo (dirtybird 015) - This track just won't quit! Dirtybird's top track of 2008 thus far, this has been championed by everyone from Sven Vath to Anja Schneider. With an outrageous new Nacho Lovers edit hitting the blogs this week (Google it!), this track looks to sail into the summer festival season.

#31 Tim Green - Revox (listed as 'Needles')  - Once Richie Hawtin got his hands on it, it was only a matter of time before the Youtube trainspotters started clamoring for this track. Out 4/21 on vinyl (check the free Deadset remix on the dirtybird blog)
