We first got into Canadian-born singer songwriter Marco DiFelice (also known by his stage moniker Marco Solo) because the simplicity of his music enticed us—it wasn’t overproduced or gimmicky, like so many singer songwriters can turn out to be. “Your Ghost” is beautiful and sparse, just a couple of guitar tracks, some light percussion and lush vocal harmonies. Nothing more, nothing less, and sometimes that’s the best way to present yourself. Not that we don’t love superstar singer songwriters like Bright Eyes or whatever, but “Your Ghost” is like a single scoop of ice cream after a three-course meal: light, refreshing, and super sweet.
