We love the Drowned in Sound feature “Band of the Day” on their RCRD LBL blog, because they always come up with the newest, coolest local stuff to champion. Today they busted out a track from new duo Gentle Friendly (featuring two members of experimental UK outfit Buttonhead). It’s called “Ride Symbols”, and, coincidentally, could be a No Age outtake. Only fuzzier and British and featuring a completely deranged and busted synthesizer. Three cheers for experimental indie folk, then.
