So, ready to see the most amazing thing ever? If you've been paying attention to mainstream hip hop and R&B lately, you'll have noticed that one long-forgotten (as long as you're not Daft Punk) '80s instrument is making a comeback: the vocoder. Dudes like Akon have been known to bust it out every now and then, and T-Pain uses it almost exclusively, not to mention Snoop Dogg using it in his best single in a really long time (that would be "Sexual Eruption", obviously). The guys at sketch comedy web site Superdeluxe just aired this animation by a comedy collective called Olde English imagining what would happen if Akon and T-Pain made a date to hang at the mall, which in all honestly has probably happened before. It's amazing.

BONUS! Learn how to "sing" like T-Pain, with this quick 'n' easy YouTube tutorial. One word: Seriously?
