STREAM: Tilly and the Wall - Beat Control

Saying we were pleasantly surprised when we heard “Beat Control”, the new single by Omaha-based indie pop mega-band Tilly and the Wall, is sort of an understatement. We’ve always been a fan of their particular style: golden vocals, happy-go-lucky songs about falling in love, etc, but “Beat Control” is something different. Something new. It’s the second coming of The Go-Go's, Elastica and We’ve Got a Fuzzbox And We’re Gonna Use It all rolled into one. It’s also, somewhat obviously, the second coming to Tilly and the Wall, the record where they shed their old selves and delve into something new: a sort of electro-pop, indie disco anthem for the ages. It's the ultimate all girl summer fun jam, so  we decided to stream “Beat Control” for you guys today, as well as the official remix from the digital-only single (available now on iTunes—get it while it’s hot!).
