VIDEO: Cat Power in the studio

We've been listening to a lot of the new Cat Power record, Jukebox, since we got it in our inbox a few weeks ago. When we saw her open for Interpol at MSG last fall, her exquisite cover of Liza Minelli's "New York New York" (which is featured on Jukebox) kind of took us aback. It's utterly breathtaking. Matador posted some grainy documentaries of Cat Power in the studio recording the album. Part 1 is above.
