VIDEO: Bloc Party - Flux
You've probably heard Bloc Party's new single by now: a completely crazy and fired-up dance explosion called "Flux", a song whose sole purpose seems to be reducing clubs everywhere to cinder and rubble. And Bloc Party being Bloc Party, it probably will.
It looks like the entire indie community is on the fence about this one: we think it's awesome. Obviously it's a stroke of genius for one of the most highly-regarded indie bands of all time to abandon the post-punk-pop aesthetic and go straight for the hi-NRG jugular. Make up your own mind, check out the video and tell us what you think.

Mayne hi-NRG is what is needed.

Let us not forget the brilliant clip for "Domo Arigato Mr. Roboto" by POLYSICS, in which a giant robot wearing a Devo helmet breaks loose from the confines of his HO-scale miniature Tokyo in and goes on a delinquent rampage in full-size Tokyo -- you know, bullying schoolkids, pranking neighbors, and generally behaving like a total robot bastard. Makes you almost forget the Styx original...

OH MY GOD. This song is rad. There are no other interpretations. I cannot wait to be annihilated on the dance floor to this.
